Best known as the curator and programming associate at Jazz at Lincoln center. He says his aim is to uplift people thru jazz and continue to expose people to the beauty of this music. He's bringing his ever rotating cast, collectively known as The Shakes, from Lincoln Center to Pelzman Park in Avenel to kick off our 2017 Second Friday jazz Series

Stephane Wrembel - July 14


French born Gypsy Jazz guitarist Stephane Wrembel performs in Pelzman park as a duo on Friday July 14 (Bastille Day aka French Independence Day). Best known for his music in Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris", this will be his third appearance in Woodbridge Township

Huntertones - Sept. 8


Brooklyn based Huntertones have a signature horn-driven sound that utilizes elements from jazz, funk, soul, hip hop, gospel, R&B, and rock to produce addicting grooves that resonate with all types of audiences. The band's mission is simple: Create live music on real instruments that will often make you think and always make you move.

Duchess - Aug. 11


Duchess is a NYC based female jazz vocal group (Amy Cervini, Hillary Gardner and Melissa Stylianou) singing in the "close harmony" style of the Boswell Sisters. Shortly before this engagement they will be performing at Lincoln Center, singing songs of The Andrews Sisters while The Paul Taylor Dance Company performs.
