Tristan McIntosh • 7:30 PM • Free

If you’re a regular Woodbridge concertgoer, you probably gasped in awe as Tristan McIntosh channeled Linda Ronstadt  for the Linda Ronstadt Experience in 2019 at Parker Press Park! This summer we’re proud to present Tristan as herself; a talented singer songwriter with an amazing gift to sing– and create music.

Tristan's love of singing began at the age of eight, it was almost as if she had no choice. Her Father's record collection set the tone and direction for how she saw life, love and loss. Alicia Keys, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Riatt, Norah Jones, they all have a place. It wasn't a conscious choice because some things just are what they are.

Soul, Jazz, Country, and Pop all live in her heart and she makes no apologies for it. Now, at 20, Tristan has made her passion for music the most defining part of her young life. Melody, lyrics and emotion are what drives her, they are the vocabulary she uses to introduce herself and create relationships that will last for years.  Don’t miss this exciting performance!

Special Guest Jackson Pines

“[A] duo from Jersey — Jackson, to be specific, nestled in the pine barrens — core members Joe Makoviecki (vocals, guitar) and James Black (bass) teamed up with some heavy-hitting friends for their debut LP Purgatory Road, which came out on February 8th. Simone Felice produced the record in his Sugar Mountain Studio in Palenville, NY and played drums; James Felice contributed piano and organ throughout the set as well. As such, the record is an expert set of indie folk, drawing on  the melodies and arrangements of bluegrass and mountain music but incorporating it tastefully into Makoviecki’s songs, which are very much of the now.”                - John Vettese, WXPN, The Key
